Wilderness Adventures has been leading kids on trips of a lifetime since 1973. As one of the first in their industry, Wilderness Adventures prides themselves on being cutting edge, and, as their name states, wild and adventurous. When it came to the design of their new website, it was important to communicate these values in a way that resonates with their core audience.

Fresh Design

While Wilderness Adventures’ primary audience is kids and teenages, parents typically end up being the final decision makers when it comes to booking a trip. For this reason, it was important that site resonated with both groups. The bright colors, youthful fonts, photography and design elements create a lively and fun aesthetic that immediately captures attention and the page content has been carefully crafted to professionally communicate Wilderness Adventures’ trusted background and educational focus.

Advanced Search Filtering

The key feature of the Wilderness Adventures site is the trip filter, which allows kids or parents to find their perfect adventure based a variety of trip variables, including, age, date, destination and activity. Whether you want to go surfing in Hawaii, learn a new language in South America or climb a mountain in Wyoming, Europe or Africa, the trip filter makes it easy to find a trip based on specific needs and wants.
